Terms of Service
Last updated: [insert date before publishing]
1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using the Zentle app ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. The Service is intended primarily for users in the United Arab Emirates.
3. What Zentle is — and isn't
Zentle helps you record, split, and track shared expenses and settlements between people you choose to group together. Zentle is not a bank, does not hold customer funds in a regulated deposit account, and does not currently provide licensed payment services. Where the app enables a payment or transfer, it does so via licensed third-party payment processors or by directing you to complete a payment or transfer through your own bank or payment app — Zentle itself does not move or custody your money.
4. Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@zentle.ae if you suspect unauthorized use.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, including fraud or money laundering.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or another user's account.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or interfere with the Service's normal operation.
- Use the Service to harass, defraud, or mislead another user regarding a shared expense or payment.
6. Pre-launch / beta status
While Zentle is in pre-launch or early-access status, the Service is provided "as is" and may change, be interrupted, or contain errors without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate material changes to early-access users.
7. Disputes between users
Zentle is a tool for recording and tracking shared expenses. We are not a party to, and are not responsible for resolving, disputes between users about amounts owed, payments made outside the app, or the underlying goods or services an expense relates to.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zentle and its affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including losses arising from disputes between users, third-party payment processor failures, or service interruptions.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or applicable law.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the UAE.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email before they take effect.
12. Contact
